We are sincerely inviting you  to attend  AmCham Latest Intellectual Property Law Seminar from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursday, Oct 12th at Chengdu Kempinski Hotel.

       来自泰和泰律师事务所的李英姿女士将结合乔丹诉乔丹体育商标案、礼来公司诉常州华生制药有限公司发明专利权纠纷案以及其亲身处理的在华企业知识产权案例，介绍中国知识产权司法保护体系如知识产权法院、知识产权审判法庭等，详细讲解知识产权诉讼注意事项。

       李英姿律师也将针对最新法律法规对中国知识产权法律保护的影响进行解读，这些法律法规包括：2017年10月1日生效的《民法总则》、2017年9月18日全国打击侵犯知识产权和制售假冒伪劣商品工作领导小组办公室、国家知识产权局、公安部、最高法、最高检等十二部门联合印发的《外商投资企业知识产权保护行动方案》以及2017年3月1日起施行的《最高人民法院关于审理商标授权确权行政案件若干问题的规定》、2016年4月1日起施行的《最高人民法院关于审理侵犯专利权纠纷案件应用法律若干问题的解释（二）》等，此外还将对专利法第四次修订相关情况进行介绍。 

Ms. Ariana from Tahota Law Firm will share AmCham members with some interesting cases and her experience of IP litigation, such as Michael Jordan v. Qiaodan Sports, Eli Lilly and Company patent litigation and other IP cases. 

The topic includes Chinese IP Judicial protection system, such as IP Court and IP Tribunal, matters needing attention in IP litigation, the effects of news laws and regulations on IP litigation. These laws and regulations contain General Rules of the Civil Law of the People’s Republic of China that will take effect on October 1st ,2017, IPR Protection Plan for Foreign-investment enterprises released on September 18, 2017, Rules of the Supreme People's Court on Issues Relating to the Hearing of Administrative Cases Involving Granting or Affirming Trademark Rights that came into force on March 1st, 2017, Interpretations of the Supreme People's Court Concerning Certain Issues on Application of Law for Trial of Cases on Disputes over Patent Infringement (II) that came into force on April 1st, 2016. In addition, Ms. Ariana will introduce briefly the fourth revision of Patent Law of the People's Republic of China.

Ariana Lee has more than 10 years’ experience in intellectual property law. She is a registered lawyer and registered patent agent, with qualifications both in science and law. She has one year visiting experience in University of Rochester, New York, USA. Ariana Lee practices across the full range of IP including patents, trade marks and copyrights while she focuses on IPR litigation in China. She has worked for clients across a broad range of industries including Internet, technology, manufacturing and marketing.
