Dinner Meeting with U.S. Consul General

3月15日，美国驻成都总领事馆总领事林杰伟(Jim Mullinax)与西南美国商会重庆执行委员会及美商会会员企业高管代表在重庆解放碑威斯汀酒店共进晚餐。

On the evening of March 15, U.S. Consul General (Chengdu) Jim Mullinax had a dinner meeting with AmCham Chongqing Organizing Committee and member representatives in The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square.

晚餐会期间，代表们与总领事就中国西南地区贸易保护、商业环境以及美领馆未来的计划等话题进行了深入探讨与交流。

During the dinner meeting, Mr. Mullinax and AmCham Chongqing leadership had a broad and in-depth exchange of views on many issues including trade protection, business climate in Chongqing, and future initiatives planned by the U.S. Consulate in Southwest China.

3月22日下午，中国西南美国商会在重庆尼依格罗酒店举办了三月理事会，这是理事会今年首次在渝举办，西南美国商会重庆执行委员会应邀参与。会上，理事们与重庆执行委员会就成渝两地2018年新一年活动计划安排进行商讨，并为协助西南地区商会会员在本地区实现经济贸易的蓬勃发展献计献策。

On March 22 afternoon, AmCham Southwest held Board of Governors’ March Meeting in Niccolo Chongqing. It was the first time this year to hold the meeting in Chongqing. Board of Governors and Chongqing Organizing Committee shared opinions on the 2018 events plan in Chengdu and Chongqing, and provided suggestions on how to assist members to achieve a thriving business in Southwest China.

AmCham Annual General Meeting in Chongqing

中国西南美国商会重庆年度大会于2018年3月22日星期四在重庆尼依格罗酒店成功举办。

The American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China successfully held the Annual General Meeting in Chongqing on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Niccolo Chongqing.

中国西南美国商会年会是一年中商会会员企业高管参与人数最多，当地政府以及各外国领事馆政府官员参与最多，意义最重大的活动。其间我们回顾美商会在过去一年中的发展概况，同时揭晓新一届美商会理事会选举结果。

AGM, the Annual General Meeting is the most influential event with the most attendance of the heads and the senior officers from member companies throughout the year since it is the historical moment to review the AmCham's development during last year and to unveil the election result of AmCham's leadership.

今年，逾百家来自各个领域的精英企业参与了此次年会，他们包括凯迪拉克、百力通、长安福特、戴尔、中豪律师事务所、美国联合航空、普华永道等，这些精英企业的总裁和总经理也应邀出席了本次年会。

This year, we had nearly a hundred enterprises to take part in the meeting. They were Directors and General Managers from the leading enterprises in diversified industries such as Cadillac, Briggs & Stratton, Dell, Changan Ford, United Airlines, PwC and so on.

美国商会理事会成员就西南美国商会的发展情况，包括美商会行政管理、项目与活动、财务状况及贸易投资促进服务等各方面做了详细的报告，并详细介绍了2017重庆所举办的活动。

The members of the board of governors of AmCham gave group presentations on different aspects of the development of AmCham Southwest, including administration, programs and activities, finance, trade and investment promotion service as well as the specific details of 2017 activities in Chongqing.

现场两轮幸运抽奖更将本次晚宴的气氛推向了高潮。奖品包括全国国际5星级酒店提供的数张自助餐券、房券，以及由美国葡萄酒进口协会会员单位上海门桥国际贸易有限公司提供的葡萄酒。

Two rounds of lucky draws pushed the AGM to a climax. Prizes Included numerous buffet and room vouchers sponsored by international 5-Star hotels in China, and wine provided by American Wine Import Association member Company Shanghai DTB International Trade Co, Ltd.

美商会年会不仅反映了美国商会的强大凝聚力，并且一直是美国商会领导团队和商会会员之间密切联系的良好商务沟通平台。同往年一样，今年美商会年会的成功举办也吸引了更多会员的参与，这同时也验证了美商会工作团队的优秀能力。

AmCham Annual General Meeting not only reflects the strong cohesion power of the organization, but also functions as a very good business platform for a close communication between the leading team of AmCham and its members. The success of the AGM has attracted a lot more members each year and proved a strong capability of AmCham executive team.
