Airport Marketing Manager – Fluent Mandarin and English language speaking

Manchester Airport

Salary circa £50,000+ Bonus + Pension 

Relocation package will be considered for the successful candidate (dependent upon criteria)  

Typical duties include;

• To manage all aspects of MAN brand management. This will include trade mark protection; logo and identity control and governance; colleague / departmental brand engagement and support, brand proposition implementation; product brand development and alignment with other brands across MAG.

• To manage all multi-channel marketing activity for Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport. This includes both business and consumer marketing, designed to meet the trading targets of the visitor attraction. 

• To ensure that Manchester Airport engages effectively with Chinese passengers (current and future)

• To work with Chinese airlines and tour operators serving China to ensure the ongoing success of the Chinese air links from Manchester Airport

• To work in collaboration with MAG – Online on car park product marketing and other campaigns and projects

• To manage all corporate marketing requirements, ranging from events to campaigns.

• To lead on all marketing department relationships across MAG, including MAG-Online, PR / social, internal relations, ensuring that all appropriate review meetings, processes and procedures are observed. 

You：

• Educated to degree level and will have experience of delivering commercially strong marketing campaigns.

• Astute and flexible, with strong influencing skills and entrepreneurial approach to work. Ability to manage both urgent tactical activity with more strategic plans.

• Ability to speak and write fluent Mandarin and English 

• Must be a strong commercial relationship builder.

• Must understand key trends in marketing.

• An ability to construct and present a clear and persuasive point of view is key

• Must be an innovative thinker, with evidence of an inquisitive approach to work, continually looking for new ways of increasing revenue

• Strong relationship builder / interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills.

• Must be prepared to travel to other MAG airports / locations as and when required.

• Must have strong planning skills.

• The post holder must be able to analysis trading performance data to ensure they have a clear understanding of key performance indicators

• Be prepared to work occasional evening and weekends

• Full UK driving licence
