西雅图男人在“最舍得花钱捯饬化妆品和衣服”上面名列全美第一，效果究竟如何？Seattle Refined在西雅图街头采访了多名女性，她们给出几乎一致的审美意见：西雅图男人应该穿的更正式，胡子整齐，别邋遢，别穿网球鞋……来看她们的Do/Don't。

男同胞们可以对号入座，涨涨姿势，女同胞们也可以看看这些问题有没有发生在自己男友或者老公身上，无则加勉，有则另其限期整改！

Seattle women have a lot to say about local men's fashion

对男人们的穿衣风格和时尚品味，西雅图的姑娘们有话说

Before we let the guys in Seattle say something about localwomen’s fashion, I think the women about town had even more to say about themen’s! We interviewed ladies from Pike Place to CenturyLink, and they almostall had one things to say: ‘Dress it up, men!’

在让男人们开口评价女人的时尚品味之前，我想女人应该有更多的话想对男人说。我们一路从著名的派克市场到世纪广场，采访了若干女性关于她们眼中男士打扮的“要”和“不要”，总而言之言而总之，她们想对男人们说：“还是打扮一下吧！男人们！”

A universal ‘don’t’ among the women was dressing too casualin the city. Also, sandals with socks. Some guys just love wearing tall, whitesocks with their Birkenstocks...these ladies want to call the Fashion Police onyou!

一个普遍的“不要”就是男士不要穿的太随便，例如，穿凉鞋还要穿袜子，尤其某些男士喜欢穿白色的长袜搭配伯肯鞋，这让女人无法容忍到想报警。

The greatest ‘Do’ was clean shaven beards and tailoredsuits. A little goes a long way to impress women by taking a time to get bothdone.

其中“要”的呼声最高的是，刮得干净整洁的胡须和剪裁精致的休闲西装。其实就这么简单，只要花一点时间和心思，就可以赢得女性的青睐啦。

Personally, my fashion advice to men is to take a woman inyour life shopping with you. Whether is be your sister, your girlfriend orrandom female co-worker, having a woman’s perspective on what looks great onyou will make you look your best… and if nothing else, at least one woman inSeattle will think you dress nicely after taking her advice.

我个人的意见是，男人们逛街的时候带上自己的女友或者老婆。（哦对，你首先得有个女友。有女友才能变帅，变帅才能有女友，貌似陷入一个无解的死循环啦。。。）好吧，对于单身狗来说呢，其实你可以叫上你的姐姐、妹妹、女同学，哪怕是个普通的女同事（或者你在优衣库门口随便认识一个先，哪怕陌陌上搜一个都行），让她们从女性的眼光来看一下这衣服到底适不适合你。这么做肯定有用，最起码来说，至少有一个女性认可你的穿着。

Do: When you meet somebody that lives in Seattle, they havea tendency to be a little bit more quirky in their clothing and go outside ofthe box. A ‘do’ here is the different patterns.

Don’t: Don’t do tennis and jeans to work; I think men should still dress up a little bit with nice dress shoes and jeans. Even in a casualenvironment, there shouldn't be tennis shoes.

Don't: Seattle weather with the rain equals outerwearclothes; lots of NorthFace and Helly Hansen. Ill fitting and oversized jacketsare not flattering and look sloppy. Huge DON’T: cargo shorts. Seriously no dudeshould wear them.

Do: Accessorize! Many men are fearful of anything betterthan basic; men already get away with doing significantly less than the ladies.Say yes to a classy watch at the workplace, a subtly embellished tie duringdinner, a fun pair of socks at home and as with everything, wear it withconfidence.

Don’t: There’s nothing worse than when you’re interruptedmidway through a “hey hot man body scan” by chunky sneakers on an otherwisedapper looking gentleman… he has got to rock it all the way to the toes.Remember the cliche life advice of the 21st century we live in: go hard or gohome. As for the sneakers, save them for the gym.

“要”： 佩饰！很多男人都不敢搭佩饰，哪怕是稍微与众不同一丢丢的那种。其实跟女人比起来，人们对男人在穿着上的要求已经够少了。工作场合戴上块精工手表，外出晚餐戴别致一点的领带，在家里的时候穿点有情调的袜子，总之在什么场合穿什么，而且要穿出自信！

“不要“：当你用欣赏的目光上下打量一个衣冠楚楚的帅哥时，突然看到厚重的运动鞋的那一刻，瞬间破功。。。当然要从头到脚都讲究呀！还记得那个老掉牙的21世纪新生活宣言吗：“要么好好活，要么家里呆”。运动鞋神马的，还是留给健身房吧！
