你喜欢写作和讲故事吗？你喜欢读驻外记者从其它国家发回的报道吗？北京美国中心1月26日的讲座就是为你准备的。我们的嘉宾Michael J. Jordan是一位报道过30个国家的美国驻外记者。他也是香港浸会大学著名的国际新闻专业的访问学者，并在四大洲教授讲故事：从纽约到香港，从布拉格到莱索托。

Jordan将在北京美国中心讲述他的记者历程以及这些年所学到的。他还将分享写作策略和技巧，帮助你如何写严肃的和有意义的故事，照亮中国的现实生活—在舒适的咖啡馆，甚至在你家里穿着睡衣写作！

Do you enjoy writing and storytelling? Do you like reading news stories from other countries by foreign correspondents? Then the Beijing American Center’s January 26 lecture is for you. Our guest is Michael J. Jordan, an American foreign correspondent who has reported from 30 countries. He is also a Visiting Scholar in Hong Kong Baptist University’s renowned International Journalism program and has taught storytelling on four continents: from New York to Hong Kong, from Prague to Lesotho.

Jordan will describe his journalistic journey and the lessons he’s learned over the years. He’ll also share his strategies and techniques for how you can write serious, meaningful stories that illuminate real life in China — producing them from the comfort of a café…or even your own home, while sitting in your pajamas!
