We currently have a vacancy for a Communications Manager joining our team in May.

The Role

The Communications Manager assists in the development, coordination and execution of all media related and public image activities of Shangri-La Hotel, at the Shard.

The Communications manager develops and maintains the local and International PR Plan of Shangri-La Hotel, At The Shard, London. He / She is responsible for all press activities of this iconic hotel including photography, collateral, press releases, media visits and creative copy-writing.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Diploma / Degree in Mass Communications or equivalent

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as Communications / PR Manager in a 5 star luxury hotel inLondon

• Experience in handling international lifestyle media

• Good contacts with UK lifestyle media

• Proven writing skills

• Fluency in English

• A team player

 

Desirable Requirements

• Fluency in Mandarin will be a definite advantage but not a must
