Bonas MacFarlane is one of the most respected providers of private tuition and educational advice and assistance with independent school selection in UK and USA who are looking to expand their role in USA higher education selection. They are looking to employ an Education Consultant / Client Relationship Manager with strong experience in Administration, US Higher Education and Advising to join their London team.

Responsibilities

• Being the first point of contact for new clients and the ability to answer queries regarding US higher education

• Assess students’ background and recommend appropriate universities / colleges and programmes

• Evaluate applications and assist students with all components including essays

• Consult on various available programmes and identify university curriculum that meets student’s abilities and requirements

• Advise and assist with the admissions / transfer process

• Actas a liaison between clients and other departments

• Assist with administrative duties including billing

• Assist with maintenance of office databases and files

• Actas company representative at various fairs and events

• Translate documents and other correspondence where necessary

• Keep up to date with events and changes in US higher education particularly in regard to admissions process and visa requirements

• Due to a growing volume of international Russian speaking clients and the nature of our business, proficiency in Russian and English is essential (ability to speak / write another language is a plus)

Essential Skills, Qualifications And Experience Required

• Bachelor degree or equivalent

• US admissions experience and / or advisory experience in an organisation such as Education USA or equivalent

• Knowledge of US student visa system and application process 

• Proficiency in Russian and English in both oral and written communications

• Excellent working knowledge of Full Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver

Highly Desirable

• US undergraduate degree

• Knowledge of UK education system

• French, German, Arabic or Mandarin as third language

• Accounting / Bookkeeping experience

• Teaching experience
