Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of daily cash reports for bank and merchant accounts

• Processing of client transactions (deposit and withdrawal) on banking, trading and merchant platforms

• Assisting with the preparation of bank and client reconciliations on a daily basis to ensure we remain compliant with CASS rules

• Investigate and process all outstanding entries in a timely manner

• Resolve treasury queries internally and liaise with banking and merchant counter parties

• Cashbook and general ledger journal postings - a good understanding of accounting entries required

• Assisting the Finance team with month-end reporting when required

• Analytical in approach you will have a high attention to detail and a methodical approach that allows you to manage multiple tasks

• Ad hoc analysis

Requirements

• Role will involve dealing with Asian territories amongst others so Mandarin language skills essential

• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills

• Advanced excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot tables, complex formulas)

• MT4 trading platform back end reporting experience

• Quick Books cloud accounting

• MS Access (intermediate level)

• Barclays business banking platform

• Exposure to multi-currency

• Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) desirable but not essential
