Do you want to sharpen your English writing and storytelling skills? How should a person write to capture the attention of an international audience? Come to the Beijing American Center (BAC) for a free workshop to improve your writing ability!
Our guest teacher will be Michael J. Jordan, who returns to the BAC after his January lecture, “Storytelling From Around the World,” attracted a capacity-seating audience. Jordan is an American foreign correspondent who has reported from 30 countries over 20 years. At this workshop, Jordan will share his techniques for how you can produce meaningful writing. You are welcome to bring ANY piece of writing that you’d like him to help improve – whether it be journalistic, communications, public relations, or your own storytelling about China. You may even email that piece to Jordan in advance, if you would like him to review it and give you some feedback: [email protected].
Jordan currently teaches International Journalism at three of China’s finest universities: Renmin University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Hong Kong Baptist University, where he’s a seven-time Visiting Scholar. He’s taught several thousand students on four continents – from New York to Hong Kong, from Prague to Lesotho.
This program is not suitable for children under 13.
