This program will be conducted in English.

Media outlets around the world are in the midst of massive change, and one newsroom in the United States is interestingly ahead in bringing about the changes that will eventually transform everyone in the business.

Hurricane Katrina, in the summer of 2005, was the catalyst for change at The Times-Picayune, New Orleans’ 178-year-old newspaper. Join us as the paper’s award-winning former chief editor Jim Amoss discusses the changing media scene and how the newsroom he led for 25 years has triumphed in the midst of change. Amoss will illustrate the journey using the Times-Picayune's Pulitzer-winning photography to set the scene.
