美商会春季眉山彭山商务考察团
AmCham Spring Delegation to Meishan Pengshan City
2017年4月27日，应眉山彭山区投促局的邀请，西南美国商会组织会员前往眉山市彭山区进行商务考察。
On April 27th, 2017, at the invitation of Pengshan District Investment Promotion Bureau of Meishan city, AmCham organized its members to pay a business visit to Pengshan district.
本次考察团得到了美商会会员的积极响应，共有20余家和35名会员单位代表参加，包括美商会会长王晓东先生、瑞美（中国）热水器有限公司中国区董事总经理兼美商会常务理事崔晓亮先生、四川易思维软件有限公司总经理张建春先生、四川大学匹兹堡学院副院长麦柯瑞先生、桑木森设计有限公司总经理劳伦斯先生、毕马威企业咨询（中国）有限公司经理张平先生等。
The delegation attracted the attendance of more than 20 companies and over 35 representatives, including Mr. Benjamin Wang, Chairman of AmCham Southwest, Mr. Eric Tsui, Managing Director of Rheem (China) Water Heater Co. Ltd, and AmCham officer, Mr. Jason Zhang, GM of Sichuan ECWise Softare Co., Ltd. They were joined by Mr. Michael Reed, Professor and Associate Dean of Sichuan University Pittsburgh Institute, Mr. Lawrence A. Samuelson, GM of The Samuelson Company, Inc. and Mr. Alex Zhang, Manager of KPMG Advisory (China) Limited etc.

Brief introduction of Pengshan
彭山，是成渝城市群规划的组成部分，是国家级天府新区的重要组成部分，是四川省重点发展曲线，全区近一半的乡镇属于天府新区及其协调管控区范围。本次美商会商务考察团参观了美商会会员公司联合利华工厂和陶氏化学项目，以及彭山农业示范园和五湖四海彭祖新城，同时参加了“走进彭山、共谋发展”眉山市彭山区优势产业推介会。
Pengshan, an integral part of the Chengdu-Chongqing urban planning, belongs to the important district of National Tianfu New Area. It is also the key development curve of Sichuan Province.Nearly half of the region's villages belong to Tianfu New District and its coordinated control areas. On this visit, AmCham’s delegation mainly visited its member companies, the Unilever factory and Dow Chemical Project, as well as Pengshan Agricultural Park and the Pengzhu New City “Five Lakes and Four Seas” Wetland Park. Finally, the delegation attended the Advantage Industry Investment Conference presented by “Exploring PengShan. Developing Together.”
通过本次深入、全面的考察，美商会会长王晓东就彭山区近几年在交通发展、人才储备及投资优势等方面进行了高度的总结和赞赏，同时表达出，美商会作为西南地区最大和最具影响力的外国商会之一，非常荣幸能够在商会会员企业中大力推广和宣传天府新区彭山区，我们共同期待这样一个不老的地方能够作为天府新区的典范之城，享誉长寿养生之城、品质发展之城、活力宜居之城、和谐幸福之城的美称。
After the day’s in-depth and comprehensive exploration of the city, Mr. Benjamin Wang, Chairman of AmCham Southwest, highly praised the Pengshan district for its transportation development, talent reserve, and investment advantages. He also pointed out that AmCham Southwest, as one of the largest and most influential foreign chambers of commerce in China, would like to promote the Tianfu New Area---Pengshan district in anticipation of the city’s vitality, habitability, and quality development of Tianfu New Area.
