这首歌的创作灵感来自于动画片主角的回忆，想向上帝祈祷的场景。起初，他们祈祷数夜上帝却未曾应答，最终却坚信，只要相信上帝，奇迹就一定会出现，也就是歌词中的“There can be miracles when you believe”, 这也正是本首歌的主题所在。
MV版
歌曲的MV在布鲁克林音乐学院拍摄，其中的埃及背景和幕布等灵感皆来自于《埃及王子》。凯利和休斯顿的幕后视频不断穿插在MV当中，整个MV场面庄重不失典雅，最后以炫目的烟火效果和宏大的合声达到高潮。正因为玛丽亚凯利和惠特妮休斯顿富有激情的二重唱和歌曲本身具有的感染力和号召力，使得它成为了脍炙人口的歌曲，也成为了两人难得的合作经典。
