Introduction of the Celebration
西南美国商会将于今年6月23日（星期六）在重庆隆重举办“美国独立日慈善庆典”。这是美商会一年中最盛大的庆典和嘉年华慈善活动，也是美商会在重庆第九次举办“美国独立日慈善庆典”。
AmCham (Chongqing) is honored to hold its ninth American Independence Day Celebration in Chongqing on Saturday, June 23th, 2018, which is the greatest celebration and carnival charity event!
届时领馆、美商会会员企业和500强企业高管、知名企业、社会名流和高端外籍人士将会出席。同时，各大媒体，美国驻成都总领事馆，重庆市政府将给予我们最大的支持。
By then, distinguished guests from consulates, government, AmCham members and senior managers from world top 500 companies, expats and trendy locals are attending the celebration. Media, US Consulates, and Chinese government officials will be supporting this event.

今年的活动将以“西部牛仔”为主题，说到西部牛仔，你会想到什么？荒芜沙漠的红日黄昏？高大的仙人掌？或是老旧的小木屋酒吧？还是头戴墨西哥式毡帽、腰挎左轮手枪、穿着紧身多袋牛仔服、足蹬饰有刺马钉的高筒皮套靴的牛仔，骑马驰骋在一望无际的大草原上，狂野不羁？
This year, we will hold this event with the theme of “Wild West”, speaking of it, what comes into your mind? The sunset and great tree cactus in the wild desert? The aged-old cabin bar? Or the cowboys, who wear the Mexico style felt cap, classic jeans, and knee-length boots, with the revolver clipped to the belt, riding the horse on the plain?
本次独立日盛典，将带你重温牛仔文化，还有丰盛的美食，欢快的音乐，牛仔舞蹈……快穿上帅气的牛仔靴，带上高顶毡帽，一起来释放自己，感受西部的豪爽与热情吧！
In this event, we will bring you to the past, present to you a carnival with wild western feature, along with delicacy, bright music, and unique dances. Put on your cool jeans and boots, let’s enjoy this wild carnival and release your passion!
