HSK作为一项国际汉语能力标准化考试，重点考查汉语非第一语言的考生在生活、学习和工作中运用汉语进行交际的能力。

Whilst encouraging students to express their creativity, the course develops the students' ability to sketch accurately and use a range of colours. The course introduces basic principles of perspective and colour theories in art.

In appreciating world-famous art, students will be inspired to create their original works with a variety of drawing materials, including coloured pencils, watercolour, gouache, pastel, soft clay, acrylic, allowing students to experience the different characteristics of materials as well as how they alter the style of art.

This course mainly focuses on still-life sketching whilst touches on the reproduction of famous works. It emphasizes on the training of fundamental skills in drawing. Since sketching is the basis of all types of art, its importance is self-evident.

Through still-life sketching lessons, students learn about perspectives and develop their observation skills, improve their focus and concentration as well as their sensitivity to light.

The course is designed for beginners who have a passion for fashion design. Through learning about professional sketching techniques, students master the studies of the human body, human movements, details of the human bodies as well as the uses and performances of various clothing items. Students may be able to create independently professional fashion sketches after the study of the course.

The unique course structure, alternating between sketching and watercolour lessons allows students to understand the basic characteristics of watercolour paintings, adding to the richness and diversity of the curriculum.
