The Opportunity

We are delighted to be working on an exceptional role for a well respected hedge fund which is still in a major growth phase. A newly created opportunity has arisen to support an extremely busy COO who travels extensively and who needs both Business Assistant and strategic support as well as management of some personal affairs.

The COO is a highly driven yet approachable individual who is respectful and will enable this individual to become a key decision maker within the organisation.

The Duties Will Include

• Extensive diary management for the COO including arranging meetings over various time zones and regularly managing changes at short notice

• Arranging important meetings and calls and being the main point of contacts for all meeting requests for the COO (these include various client meetings, meetings with other departments in Hong Kong and internal meetings)

• The role holder will have to ensure that the COO's time is utilized well and that his day runs to plan which will mean using initiative when arranging meetings and being one step ahead at all times to ensure he attends all meetings on time

• Private PA duties including the following, personal travel and family holidays, collation of tax information to produce to the accountant, payment of household bills

• Liaison with the COO's family to plan school holiday arrangements, source suppliers for upkeep of properties both in HongKong, London and the US

Requirements

• The ideal Executive Assistant will be degree educated, have impeccable levels of communication skills and will have had exposure to Asian markets

• Languages, especially Mandarin would be a bonus

• Previous financial experience is essential
