The Opportunity

This an exciting new opportunity to work in the British Library’s major new ‘Literary Icons’ partnership project with organisations across China. As part of this role, you will work with internal and external partners in the UK and in China to organise and develop a diverse series of work packages. You will also assist the Curators of the Chinese collection of the Library in delivering cooperation projects with Chinese institutions. 

Experience And Requirement

You will have working knowledge of written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin), excellent written and oral communication skills as well as exceptional time management and organisational skills. You will be able to work with multiple partners to assist in planning international projects.

You may also have previous experience of working in China or with Chinese organizations and an overall knowledge of the Chinese cultural institutions landscape.
