My mom is a diva, she rocks and rolls all day

She always starts singing, especially when I say

My mom is just so cool

She’ll sing even at a pool

She has such a strong singing voice

She can dance anywhere of her choice

Her love of being rockstar

Would never fit inside a tiny jar

Everyone loves her

Even me for sure

She’s musical and stupendous

But still has time to kiss

I really love my rockstar mom

She goes crazy yet stays calm

She’s so great and so strong

I promise I am not wrong

My Mom 

A vase is just a vase 

Until you fill it with flowers 

A wand is just a stick 

Without its magical powers 

A diamond’s just a rock 

Until you cut it right 

And a sunrise looks like nothing 

Unless you start with night 

My mom is like a sunrise 

Warm and beautiful and gold 

My mom is a like a diamond 

Strong and clear and bold 

But my mom is not a flower 

That grows in rainy weather 

Instead she’s like the vase 

That holds us all together
