We are a well established, independent food service wholesaler based in Bury St. Edmunds, founded on passion and innovation. The company is a leading supplier to the Chinese, Thai and Indian sectors. Our distribution base covers East Anglia, Essex and Hertfordshire.
Our product portfolio ranges from chilled, frozen, fresh, seafood and meat produce. This diverse range allows us to be able to provide a one-stop solution to customers.
Due to continued growth of our business we are seeking to add to our successful sales team a new Field Sales Executive.
In the role as Field Sales Executive the main focus will be on achieving sales targets and growing the business within your territory. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing client relationships and growing a customer base within East Anglia, Essex and Hertfordshire.
You will be working alongside the Managing Director on a day-to-day basis. The role will require learning about customer businesses, negotiating prices, and ensuring the delivery of first class customer service. You will be managing pricing and margins according to internal targets. You will be collecting previous payments from customers, banking cash, merchandising stock and keeping clients up to date with new products.
The role will require a proven track record of journey planning and organising your own diary, being able to work autonomously as well as with the wider team. You must have the ability to work under your own initiative. You will be providing a professional and efficient point of contact for customers at all levels representing the company with the highest of standards at all times.
The right candidate will be bright, determined, articulate and ready to exceed sales targets as well as offering the right solutions for our clients. You will be customer focused, great at building trust and relationships and then maintaining those relationships working and ambitious. The candidate will be able to build rapport easily and have excellent communication skills. In return you will be rewarded with an excellent earnings package.
Any previous customer service, sales or marketing experience would be highly beneficial. You must be over 21 years old and also hold a full driving licence. The ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese or an Indian Language would be advantageous.
