1st Floor Food Film Series: History of Siracha
Sriracha is a 33-minute movie from filmmaker Griffin Hammond that traces the origins of the incredibly popular hot sauce. The film follows the rise of Huy Fong Foods and its founder, David Tran, a Vietnamese refugee who found fortune in America with his version of a hot sauce whose roots lie in a coastal town in Thailand. Fun fact: Ever wondered about the bird that adorns every Sriracha bottle? It's a nod to the fact that Tran was born in the Chinese year of the rooster!
For the month of May, join us for a special food film series! We will features films and food from different cultures, highlighting the many different Asian-American cultures in the U.S. today!

Introduction：This monthly conversation circle will give young adults (roughly aged 18 to 35) the opportunity to learn more about American culture.
