With the sales target of the store, the Sales Consultant has to maximize the sales and contribute to the sales target achievement through taking initiatives to maximize sales opportunities and taking the customer through the selling process. Wherever possible, he / she needs to offer support to other staff in the store in order to carry out the selling process more effectively.
The Sales consultant needs to receive visitors, proactively provide assistance to them. He / she needs to assess their needs and provide consultation on product features and propose the relevant benefits according to their requirements.
He / she needs to actively solicit visitors’ information and turn them to customers. He / she needs to maintain regular contacts with customers for maintaining good relationship, and maximize sales opportunities with them.
He / she needs to actively attend to customers’ request for repair and complaints in a professional manner in order to maximize customer satisfaction with the company’s guideline adhered.
He / she needs to carry out duties as assigned by the Store Manager through job rotation or on anad hoc basis for the good image and proper operations of the store. These duties include but not limited to visual merchandizing, inventory management, tidiness of the store, etc. He / she needs to be well versed with the company’s policies and guidelines and adhere to them for the purpose of maintaining a good operations and proper image of the store.
