To my high school best friend:

　　I still remember the first day we met our freshman year of high school in class. From that moment on, I knew we were going to have a friendship that would last a lifetime. Every moment that we shared are moments that I will never forget for the rest of my life. You helped me through so many hard moments in high school and I do not know how to thank you. When I was sad, you were there to comfort me and when I was happy, you were there to celebrate with me. I cannot thank you enough for always being there.

　　Senior year was a hard year for me. The times when I was stressing out about college and did not know what to do, you would always know the right thing to say to make me feel better. Every time you comforted me, it was like a weight being lifted off of my shoulder. I would not have made it through this difficult year if it was not for you being by my side. For this, I am forever grateful.

　　Now that we attend different colleges, I still feel like you are always there for me even though we are not near each other. When we talk on the phone, it is like you are sitting there, right next to me. I will always hold our friendship very near to my heart. No matter where life may lead us, I know we are always going to be friends. Thank you is all I have to say to you.

　　Thank you for encouraging me in my dreams. Thank you for always being there for me when no one else was. Thank you for the endless laughs and moments that we shared. Thank you for never giving up on me. Most of all though, thank you for allowing me the honor of being your best friend in high school and for the rest of our lives.

　　若没有你，我将不会是现在的自己。人生能得到让自己变得美好的知己实属不易。与你相识，我深感荣幸，若不曾与你相遇，我的人生将是另外一番光景。你已彻底改变了我的人生，对此，我心中的感激无以言表。

　　我还记得高一时我们在班里初次相遇的那一天。从那时起，我就知道我们会成为毕生的挚友。我们一起分享过的每一天都是我此生难忘的片段。你帮助我度过了高中时很多艰难的时光，对此，我真的不知如何回报。当我悲伤难过，你在我身边给我安慰，当我开心快乐，你在我身边为我庆祝。身边总是有你让我心怀无尽感激。

　　高中最后一年，我过得很艰难，每每我在为考大学的事感到焦虑，不知道如何是好时，你总是知道如何说会让我感觉好一些。每次你安慰我，都让我如释重负。如果你不曾在我身边，我将无法撑过那艰难的一年。为此，我将永远感激不尽。

　　如今我们考上了不同的大学，即使相隔遥远，我仍然感觉你一直在我身边。我们打电话聊天时，你似乎就在那里，就坐在我身旁。我会永远珍惜我们的友谊。无论生活将我们引向何处，我都知道，我们永远都会是朋友。对你，我所能说的就只有谢谢。

       谢谢你鼓励我坚持梦想。谢谢你在他人都离我而去时一直在我身边。谢谢你带给我无尽的欢笑以及你我二人共度的时光。谢谢你对我不离不弃。但最重要的是，谢谢你让我有幸成为你最好的朋友，不仅是高中好友，更是一生一世的挚友。
