Genting has a proud history of creating luxury hotels in the Far East, and we are excited to have launched Europe's first Genting Hotel, a boutique 4 star hotel with 5 star suites at the heart of a stunning leisure and entertainment complex - Resorts World Birmingham, located at the NEC.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join Genting Hotel.

We are ideally looking for someone who is fluent in Cantonese / Mandarin and / or Malaysian. Previous experience of working with the Opera system is essential.

Responsibilities

• As the first point of contact for hotel guests, you will have a warm and welcoming manner and an exceptional eye for detail

• Excellent communication skills are required and the Receptionist must be comfortable dealing with guests and hotel staff at all levels, as you will assist with many and varied guest requirements throughout the day, from check-in to check-out

• You must be able to demonstrate high standards of spoken and written communication together with a good standard of numeracy, to ensure all relevant documentation is carried out accurately and efficiently

• You must be extremely well-presented and able to use initiative whilst displaying exceptional standards of customer care at all times

• You will be a confident and effective communicator, who can demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels
