- To create the student University application, translate and proofread students' writing
- To communicate with UK Universities by email and phone
- To advice student to prepare the application document
- To be part of counsellor team to ensure the centre meets the student recruitment targets
- To be responsible for handling student enquiries, and providing professionally tailor-made consultation services to prospective students via different means such as emails, telephone, face to face counselling
- To support partner university’s visit and student interviews
- To keep frequent communications with students and provide caring customer service
- To be aware of updates of partner universities’ product / entry requirement information and UKBA policy change
- To take part in company trainings and planning meetings when required
- To undertake other tasks assigned by the Centre Manager
- Excellent on English writing and speaking
- Degree or equivalent qualification (essential)
- Postgraduate qualification is desirable
- Knowledge of IT developments and up to date channels of communication including social media, QQ, WeChat and other digital communication tools
- Knowledge of the UK Higher Education system
- An understanding of international student university choice behaviours especially mainland Chinese students
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to present detailed information to different audiences
- Good networking skills, the credibility and confidence to represent the company and the ability to make face to face contact with a variety of students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin (essential)
- Ability to close sales deals and ability to follow up existing customers to identity new sales opportunities
- Team player with the ability to motivate other members of the team
- The ability to be self-motivated
- To be able to deliver to target within agreed timescales and within agreed resources
- Requirement for flexible working including working in the weekends and evenings
