#Traveling Around the U.S. –  State of the Week: Virginia

“Virginia is for lovers” is the slogan for this storied Southern state. Virginia is the birthplace of more U.S. Presidents than any other state and has always played a central role in the history of the country.

Starting from the North of the state, Northern Virginia borders Washington D.C. and has its own charming suburbs with lots to do.

The capital Richmond is steeped in history, and has old historic charm. Make sure to stop in colonial Williamsburg where actors will reenact life in early 1700’s Virginia before the U.S. was even a country!

Whatever you fancy, Virginia is sure to have something for you.
