你的英语有多好？检验你的英语水平的时候到了！即使是英语为母语的外国人也不一定能读好的一首诗，你敢挑战一下自己吗？
小海狸今天特地为大家带了了一首难度四个+的英文绕口令！
英语是一个说难不难说容易不容易的语言，虽然歪果仁总是自称自己的语言--英语很难，但是在看到中国字之后，也只能目瞪口呆，惊讶世界上居然还有长成这样的文字！（歪果仁：这让我怎么学？！）
许多中国人也喜欢让歪果仁说中国的绕口令，什么“四是四，十是十”，或者是“吃葡萄不吐葡萄皮”这种已经是基本款了，基本上每个中国人都可以来上那么一两句。
可是，今天小海狸要介绍的这一个英文绕口令，却是真真正正考验歪果仁的英语口音的了，读起来感觉跟赵元任先生的《施氏食狮史》有异曲同工之妙。
荷兰诗人Gerard Nolst Trenité在1922年写了一首名为《混乱》（The Chaos）的诗，并放话说：只有真正的英国人可以读准诗歌里的所有单词。

----《The Chaos》----
Dearest creature in creation,
Study English pronunciation.
I will teach you in my verse
Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse.
I will keep you, Suzy, busy,
Make your head with heat grow dizzy.
Tear in eye, your dress will tear.
So shall I! Oh hear my prayer.
Pray, console your loving poet,
Make my coat look new, dear, sew it!
Just compare heart, beard, and heard,
Dies and diet, lord and word, Sword and sward, retain and Britain.
(Mind the latter, how it's written.)
Now I surely will not plague you
With such words as plaque and ague.
But be careful how you speak:
Say break and steak, but bleak and streak;
Cloven, oven, how and low,
Script, receipt, show, poem, and toe.
Hear me say, devoid of trickery,
Daughter, laughter, and Terpsichore,
Typhoid, measles, topsails, aisles,
Exiles, similes, and reviles;
Scholar, vicar, and cigar,
Solar, mica, war and far;
One, anemone, Balmoral,
Kitchen, lichen, laundry, laurel;
Gertrude, German, wind and mind,
Scene, Melpomene, mankind.
Billet does not rhyme with ballet,
Bouquet, wallet, mallet, chalet.
Blood and flood are not like food,
Nor is mould like should and would.
Viscous, viscount, load and broad,
Toward, to forward, to reward.
And your pronunciation's OK
When you correctly say croquet,
Rounded, wounded, grieve and sieve,
Friend and fiend, alive and live.
Ivy, privy, famous; clamour
And enamour rhyme with hammer.
River, rival, tomb, bomb, comb,
Doll and roll and some and home.
Stranger does not rhyme with anger,
Neither does devour with clangour.
Souls but foul, haunt but aunt,
Font, front, wont, want, grand, and grant,
Shoes, goes, does. Now first say finger,
And then singer, ginger, linger,
Real, zeal, mauve, gauze, gouge and gauge,
Marriage, foliage, mirage, and age.
Compare alien with Italian,
Dandelion and battalion.
Sally with ally, yea, ye,
Eye, I, ay, aye, whey, and key.
Say aver, but ever, fever,
Neither, leisure, skein, deceiver.
Heron, granary, canary.
Crevice and device and aerie.
Pronunciation -- think of Psyche!
Is a paling stout and spikey?
Won't it make you lose your wits,
Writing groats and saying grits?
It's a dark abyss or tunnel:
Strewn with stones, stowed, solace, gunwale,
Islington and Isle of Wight,
Housewife, verdict and indict.
Finally, which rhymes with enough --
Though, through, plough, or dough, or cough?
Hiccough has the sound of cup.
My advice is to give up!!!

一开始看好像很简单是不是？读到后面觉得是什么鬼是不是？有多少人没读完第一段就放弃了的？请举手！有多少人坚持到第二段的？请举手！有多少人全部读完...的？
不可能有人全部读完吧...感觉很多歪果仁都读不完来着~不会...真的有人读完了吧？！

因为真的大部分歪果仁都读不来这个啊...
这位英国朋友表示：“显然90%说英语的人都不能读这个绕口令，这说明90%的人说不了正派的英文。（脏话哔），我要回学校重新读书了！”
这首诗，简直就是检验英文口语的权威标准啊！
