本次电影夜活动，上海美国中心带来影片《隐藏人物》(Hidden Figures)，该片由塔拉吉·P·汉森、奥克塔维亚·斯宾瑟、加奈儿·梦奈等人主演，将镜头对准60年代美国国家航空航天局（NASA）的三位非裔女性科学家，讲述她们为1962年美国人首次完成地球轨道飞行项目做出的不为人知的贡献。影片放映后，现场会有来自领馆的外交官带领大家一起讨论。

Join us for a special screening of Hidden Figures, the story of a team offemale African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA duringthe early years of the U.S. space program. The film stars Taraji P.Henson as Katherine Johnson, a mathematician who calculated flight trajectoriesfor Project Mercury and other missions. The film also features Octavia Spenceras NASA supervisor Dorothy Vaughan and Janelle Monáe as NASA engineer Mary Jackson, with Kevin Costner, KirstenDunst, Jim Parsons, Glen Powell and Mahershala Ali in supporting roles. One of our Consulate Officers will lead a post-screening discussion.

上海美国中心和 ShanghaiPRIDE 合作放映纪录片《夏洛特·邦奇的女权传奇》(Passionate Politics: the Life and Work of Charlotte Bunch)。除影片放映外，你也能在现场就其作为女性权利活动家的经历向Charlotte Bunch提问。

The Shanghai American Center is proud to team up with ShanghaiPRIDE for aspecial screening of the documentary “PassionatePolitics: the Life and Work of Charlotte Bunch”. The event will feature not only the film, but alsogive you the chance to ask Charlotte Bunch questions about her work as a globalactivist promoting women’s rights.

《夏洛特·邦奇的女权传奇》再现了夏洛特的一生：从一位年轻的推进民权发展的理想主义者，到一位女同性恋权利活动家，最后成为国际公认的领袖人物。片中，曾和她一同工作的来自亚洲、非洲、南美及加勒比海地区的女性讲述了她们共同推进女性权利发展，使女性权利得以纳入全球人权进程的故事。片中穿插有夏洛特私人信件的节选，这些信件展现出她致力于创造一个更平等的世界的决心。

“Passionate Politics: The Life and Work ofCharlotte Bunch” brings Charlotte’s story to life, from idealistic young civil rightsorganizer, to lesbian feminist activist to internationally recognized leader.Charlotte’s story is told by women from Asia,Africa, South America and the Caribbean who have worked with her to put women’s rights on the global human rights agenda. Interwoventhroughout the film are excerpts from Charlotte’s personal letters that illuminate her determination tocreate a more just world.
