为纪念母亲节，北京美国中心将在学习资源中心放映电影“弱点”。电影进述了奥赫在温盖特基督教学校的成长经历，以及他被莉莉安·图伊和尚恩‧图伊夫妇收养并最终进入大学美式足球队的故事。女星桑德拉·布洛克凭借本片得到了金球奖剧情类最佳女主角、美国演员工会奖最佳女主角和奥斯卡最佳女主角奖。本片还得到了奥斯卡最佳影片奖提名。

In honor of Mother’s Day, the Beijing American Center proudly presents a screening of the film “The Blind Side”. The film follows Oher from his impoverished upbringing, through his years at Wingate Christian, his adoption by Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy, to his position as one of the most highly coveted prospects in college football, then finally becoming a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens. Bullock went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actress, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role. The film also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
The film will be in English with English subtitles.
