New! The next time you visit the Beijing American Center, look out for a new addition to our Embassy art collection on your way in--we're talking about a copy of the Declaration of Independence! The original document, signed on July 4, 1776 and announcing the independence of the thirteen American colonies  from British rule, now lives at the National Archives in Washington D.C., but we're honored to host a copy here in Beijing. We hope you get a chance to see it!
