在地理位置方面,CS专业在这几个州的薪水是相对比较高的：加州、德州、纽约州、弗吉尼亚州、宾州、俄亥俄州、伊利诺伊州、麻省、马里兰州。相应区域薪金比较高的原因在于相应区域的行业发展比较好。比如说加州,我们就不用多说,著名的硅谷就坐落在北加州。而麻省IT公司主要集中在波士顿区域。
起薪与行业发展,与周边学校的学术研究是直接相关的。
比如说加州的学校：Stanford University,University of California - Berkeley；
麻省的学校：MIT,UMass Amherst；
德州的University of Texas - Austin；
伊利诺伊州的University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign；
宾州的Carnegie Mellon University；
纽约州的Cornell University等等。
所以在选择学校时,可以侧重在这几个州内选择。
