Qualifications

Pay
Set your own hourly pay rate (usually between £15 and £45/hr)
In conjunction with the Head of International Recruitment,you will be responsible for setting the sales targets for the prescribed region, in line with corporate objectives
Develop an integrated regional marketing strategy that ensures the full range of recruitment models and channels are represented across and within the regions to maximise income and reduce risk.
Responsible for the effective day to day management and development of the prescribed regional team and associated offices to ensure achievement of regional goals, and delivery of exceptional service to students and stakeholders
Develop and maintain strong and effective links with all faculties/schools within institutional partners to provide market insight, identify opportunities for business development, and ensure there is strong support within academic departments for the activities undertaken within the prescribed region.
To develop and maintain effective links across partners and stakeholders including embassies, UKTI, British Council, educational institutions, and industry for the allocated region.
To manage overseas offices, to ensure that they deliver against targets, service level agreements and other performance indicators. Where appropriate, to take responsibility for development of new overseas offices
To undertake international travel as and when necessary (anticipated to be 12 -16 weeks per year) in support of the work of QAHE and the achievement of regional recruitment targets. Additionally, to provide supervision and support for international advisors and academic colleagues travelling abroad.
Skills & Experience Required
Required - Mandarin speaking
Required - Good First Degree, Advantageous - Higher Degree or professional management qualification
Proven track record of successfully operating in the HE sector
Experience of working with and recruiting international students
Track record of success in a similar sales environment
Management Experience or Team Leader experience
Sales driven and motivated by a target based culture
Commercially focussed, capable of delivering results in a cost effective manner
Strong customer focus, committed to ensuring delivery of excellent service standards
Ability to operate at all levels of the organisation acting as an ambassador for the International Office and University internally and externally.
Effectively leveraging and delivering capital introductions.
Growing the base of private investors HNWIs, family offices and private wealth intermediaries in China.
Organizing and attending roadshows and conferences.
Making calls on clients and prospects regarding the company and to arrange meetings.
Managing the process of setting up client meetings with investors.
Understanding the market for high-end residential development in the UK.
Mapping possible investors and thoroughly understanding their processes.
This is an exciting opportunity which will provide a good opportunity to grow a strong network of Chinese contacts including super-wealthy HNWIs and private family offices. Gaining exposure to some exciting and highly prestigious projects including some of the most luxurious residential portfolios being developed in the UK, the successful candidate will enjoy being part of a dynamic, well-established team.
Knowledge of both the investor community and wealth intermediaries in China and have strong personal relationships within each.
Experience in an Institutional Investor or an Fund Manager is a plus.
Other experience within real estate capital raising is also desirable.
Goal-orientated approach with excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent level of spoken and written English
