In this challenging role you will develop business across the Bank and Non Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) sectors, managing Relationship Managers and be responsible for the planning and execution of strategies to meet financial targets.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Relationship Managers (RMs) across the FI sector incorporating Banks and NBFIs including fund managers, re/insurance companies, exchanges and clearing houses in the UK and EMEA.
Collaborate with Chief Corporate Banking Officer to agree strategies.
Implement the business plan and monitor RM's progress.
Work with product departments and cross-sell products and services provided by the bank
Following the internationalisation of RMB and the opening up of onshore and offshore markets introduce to UK and EMEA FIs the opportunities that the Chinese market presents.
Maintain and develop relationships with Chinese organisations including state institutions
Work with Head Office to arrange joint client promotional events
Identify and develop new products in line with the requirements of the market, especially in capital markets, exchanges business and all RMB businesses.
Execute staff performance targets and appraisals.
Manage a unit of specialist compliance analysts
Ensure that the highest standards of internal practices are followed.
Your background:
Extensive experience working with the Financial Institutions sector, ideally covering trading, product development and operations.
Exceptional product knowledge, particularly of Financial Markets, Trade Finance, RQFII, Clearing and Syndicated Loans.
Target driven with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
Deep knowledge and understanding of the Chinese economy and the ongoing developments regarding the internationalisation of the Renminbi including RQFII, the offshore and onshore RMB bond markets, Shanghai Free Trade Zone etc
Strong staff management, motivation and development skills.

Our client is a famous international Chinese company with offices all over the world. You will oversee regional HR activities as the HR leader on all human resources topics in people management & HR practices in Europe.
Initiate HR activities across Europe and build the HR team and full functions
Ensure that local HR processes and ways of working are in line with local legislation, best practice and company global strategy, ensure this is followed by the organization
Lead and develop change activity – identify operational efficiencies and ensure consistency around all process improvement, lead projects and deliver the results
Responsible for the relationship and negotiations with related local institutions
Take full responsibility for all HR projects, business as usual activity and change management within the allocated teams; act as an escalation point and manage any HR queries and issues that arise
Maintain relationships with headquarter and global HR Connections (HR Shared Service Center), HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure delivery of operational excellence within the region
Handle compliance cases and play a hands-on role and lead by example by ensuring key processes are delivered
Your background:
Deep understandings of company culture and values to address HR strategy
Experience of building and leading a cross-cultural team of HR professionals
Thorough knowledge of HR local legislation and processes and associated administration
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and in the best interest of the business and wider HR agenda
Ability to deal with changes and challenges under pressure and ambiguity situations
Experience leading a team and assuming responsibility for resolving issues and workload allocation
Working knowledge of identifying and managing HR operational risk for team activities
Excellent communication skills both written and oral and culture sensitivities
Flexible to travel to work closely with stakeholders (primary Business managers) across different regions
Previous experience in e-Commerce or internet company is a plus
Mandarin Skills is a plus
