Project Scope

TM Forum Smart City InFocus 2016 will again return to Yinchuan to showcase the very best developments in smart cities from across the globe and will cement Yinchuan’s position as a world-leading smart city.

The two day conference will bring together over 300 global senior representatives from across the smart city ecosystem to network and learn through an interactive programme and will feature some of our latest “proof of concept” catalyst demonstrations.

When: Wednesday 7th September – Friday 9th September 2016

Where: Yinchuan International Convention Center, Yinchuan, China

Format:

VIP dinner –Two day Smart City conference – Networking dinner – co-located catalysts
Deliver 300 global senior representatives from across the smart city ecosystem
Delegates to cover 6 continents; Asia, Europe, South America, North America, Oceania and Africa
Delegates to be represented from 50 countries
No more than 3 invitees from any one company, city, government or delegation
90 government officials (mayors, cities, government)
90 delegates from across the business sectors – telecoms & enterprise i.e. CEO, CSO, CFO
80 senior delegates from across the technical sectors, telecoms & enterprise i.e. CIO, CTO, Senior Architects

The city of Yinchuan has graciously offered to cover the complete travel cost, including flight, hotel and transfer, for select executives and government officials.

Role Scope

This role is to support the delegate acquisition team here in the London office and act as the link to the local government approved travel agency in China.

For every delegate who confirms their attendance we gather itinerary information, then liaise with the Chinese travel agency to agree an itinerary and visa letters for the delegate. Once the delegate visa is confirmed, the flight is booked and accommodation in Yinchuan confirmed for the required number of nights. Then the full travel pack is shared with the delegate.

Requirements

Mandarin speaker
Travel agency/Travel Arrangement experience preferably
Experience dealing with Chinese government agencies
Gravitas, ability to deal at a high level
Very organised
Team player

Propeller TV is looking for a Production Assistant Intern to work as part of the production team in supporting the Senior Producer. You’ll gain experience for the administration and organisation involved in producing a TV programme. This will be a fun, yet creative process to understand and be involved in the creation of formats for programming. You'll attend shoots and become an important part of the team for all stages of programme film-making. You will be a valued member of a team and help generate and research ideas for programmes. If you like working with people and organising things, and you want to work in film or TV, this job could be ideal for you.

You’ll need to be organised and have excellent attention to detail. Be able to take the initiative and think creatively will help you to solve problems throughout the production process.

Requirements:

Related Bachelor degree or above
Good knowledge of editing software: final cut, premier, InDesign, after effect, adobe audition
Good knowledge of using XLR camera
Basic knowledge of sound recording
Excellent verbal and written skills in English is essential
Verbal and written skills in Mandarin is not essential but would advantageous
Excellent communication and computer skills
Write scripts for shows, adverts and trailers as required
Undertake editing, interviewing and reporting duties as necessary
Able to work on your own

Working hours: 20 hours per week or above

Propeller TV is looking for a creative Motion Graphic Designer to join the team. Reporting directly to the Senior Producer your main job is to create and deliver high quality and innovative motion graphic content on a multimedia platform.

The Role:

Create high engaging animation.
Assist in the creation of animation storyboards.
Prepare conceptual layouts for the motion graphic projects.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
Provide accurate time estimates for each part of the process.
Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphic and animation styles for the project.
Encoding, converting and editing videos and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
Keeping abreast/learning advancements in animation as well as new technologies, techniques, contemporary trends in animation.
Any other reasonable duties as and when required.

The person :

Minimum 1 years’ motion graphic/animation design experience.
Relevant University degree.
It is essential you have experience in using the following software: Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
Desirable software: Final cut Pro and Flash
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail.
Must be creative.
Excellent organizational skills.
Able to manage own time effectively, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
