Role

We are looking for the next generation of recruitment consultants providing the full 360 recruitment function placing high-value contractors into hyper-niche markets across the UK and Europe. You’ll be working closely with the contractors to understand the skills, experience and add value and working with existing and new clients to provide the very best consultants for their project demands. You’ll be building long term relationships with both your contractors and clients and become a subject matter expert in your chosen niche and become the go-to person attending seminars, workshops, events, forums and webinars to become the authority for your chosen niche.

Your Role Will Include

• Working with a select high value group of contractors and fully understanding their skills and experience and value add to organisation

• Identifying the organisations that hire these type of skills on a contractor basis

• Gaining market intelligence on market rates

• Reverse marketing high-value contractors into clients

• Managing the end to end recruitment process from contract role qualification, sourcing, candidate assessment, presentation to clients, arranging and managing the interview, candidate control and negotiation, client control and negotiation, pre-closing with both the candidate and contractor, on-going contractor care with regular face to face meetings both with the contractor and hiring manager

• Attending seminars, events, forums within the niche market to become a thought leader and go to person for this skillset

• Building your contractor order book with a small but diverse portfolio of clients

• Staying ahead of the market in terms of identity changes to the demands of the niche and future demands and impact

Requirements

• You will ideally be degree educated to a min 2:2 however your drive, determination and attitude can often prove a more valuable asset

• You will have a strong understanding of the importance of branding and marketing

• You must have a sense of urgency that makes them want to move things along relatively quickly

• You’ll be competitive, goal orientated, result driven and extremely ambitious

• You’ll be restless and driving

• Have a sense of urgency to get things done quickly

• Independent and persistent and a great listener. Wants to take charge and show some initiative

• Is friendly and sociable

• Likes people and enjoys working with them

• You’ll want to be challenged with the opportunity for advancement

• You will be self-assured, accepting the responsibility for decision making and seeing yourself as a problem solver

• Passionate about working in the Technology, Media and Telecoms industry

• You will share our values (integrity, responsibility, service and deliver) and you must be able to travel locally and internationally (as required) without any restrictions

• If you speak German, Italian or Mandarin this will be a plus but not essential (fluency is English is essential)

• You will receive an intense 12-week hands on (real world) training and development programme ensuring you get off to the best start possible
