We are a non-profit charity, a national organisation aimed at improving the political representation and participation of the Chinese Community in the UK, standing against discrimination and supporting the work of local Chinese community organisations and volunteer centers.
We are committed to making a lasting difference to the lives of the Chineseliving in the UK. Raising the awareness of issues affecting this group of people including racial discrimination, political marginalisation, funding cuts to centers, gambling addiction, integration and difficulties faced by international students.

Where We Are Based

Our main office is in London with four paid staff, regional centers in Birmingham and Manchester are volunteer based. This position is to grow the Birmingham officei nto a regional presence building on existing structures.

What The Job Entails

Establishing the Birmingham regional office with volunteers and with support from London. Work includes supporting Parliamentary reports, research, working with Chinese community leaders, police and charitable organisations, Chinese community centers, on projects that are in line with our overall objectives. Will need to grow and lead a group of interns and volunteers, reach to universities, local and national press and fundraise.

You will be making a real and lasting difference to the lives of people and the British Chinese Community.

• Chinese language, Chinese cultural and local Birmingham community understanding essential.
