康沃尔馅饼

英国经典小吃康沃尔馅饼,是用小块牛肉、土豆块、洋葱还有一些清淡的调料做馅,然后包成半月的形状烤制。虽然在英国,您能品尝到各种不同馅料做成的烘烤馅饼,例如火腿馅,奶酪馅等,但只有在康沃尔郡制作出的馅饼,才叫做康沃尔馅饼。所以,作为吃货的您,如果到了康沃尔,一定要品尝这一著名的英国小吃。


约克郡布丁
在英国,任何一家有档次的餐厅的小吃菜单里,都不会少了约克郡布丁。虽然它以英格兰北部的约克郡命名,但英国很多郡都声称他们才是这一美食的发源地,因此约克郡布丁的来源至今仍是个谜。

约克郡布丁又称为烤油布丁,它用煎饼面粉糊制成,烹饪的最后一步是将面糊放在烤肉下面的一个大罐子里烘烤,让布丁吸收烤肉滴下来的汁,这样做出的布丁肉香浓郁,肉脆可口。这一小吃已在英国流行了几百年,然而人们它的热情没有丝毫减退。作为在生活在英国的吃货,怎么能错过它呢!


英式查佛
英式查佛,像布丁一样,是英国的传统甜品,通常由水果,蛋糕或是饼干,奶油一层一层做成,层层叠叠就是查佛最大的特色,此外,用甜酒比如雪利酒淋泡过的蛋糕或是手指饼,也是查佛的独特之处。水果的清甜加上美酒的香醇,算是非常独特的甜品。除了那些英国人离不开的烤豆、鱼和炸薯条外,英式香肠外,这个很英式的查佛算是英国人最离不开的甜点了。

伊顿麦斯
伊顿麦斯是由草莓、奶油和蛋白酥皮精制而成的甜点,起源于温莎著名的贵族学校伊顿公学。传说,在伊顿公学的校园开放日,一只拉布拉多犬一屁股坐在主人野炊的毯子上,压扁了主人的草莓奶油蛋白饼,但这个被破坏了的饼干却意外的好吃,因此出现了伊顿麦斯。这款可爱的小吃口感甜滑,清新不油腻,已成为英格兰夏天的代名词。

苦啤酒
说到英国饭后小吃,怎么能少了啤酒呢?苦啤酒是英国最具代表性的啤酒,也是英国酒吧中最传统、流行又常见的酒,被称为国粹。大部分的英国苦啤酒是通过啤酒桶供应的,也有少量瓶装和听装,以室温饮用最为常见,不需要冰镇。顾名思义,这种酒的最大特点就是有一种独特的苦味,酒劲比起一般的淡啤来也更强,会有苦味留于齿间。苦啤酒从18世纪至今一直受到英国各个阶层人们的喜爱,其真正历史则已经有几百年,而它能够在英国人之间流行起来的根源现在似乎已经不可考了。这种酒是用烘焙过的麦芽所酿制,因而口感较干,香味浓郁并且拥有丰富的气泡,是在英国打发闲暇时光的好伴侣。

炸鱼薯条
虽然看到这道小吃的名字,很多在小伙伴们都会忍不住笑出声来。对!说到英国小吃,绝对第一个想到的就是它!满大街都会看到的它!炸鱼薯条!它是英国最具标志性的街边小吃,热气腾腾,方便快捷,几百年来,成为英国雅俗共赏,老少皆宜的一道美食。第一个将炸鱼和薯条二者结合在一起的天才的名字已无法得知。但早在维多利亚时期,美味可口的炸鱼薯条店已遍布大街小巷,为人们日常平淡无味的饮食增色不少。最有趣的是炸鱼薯条那独特而著名的包装了,它们不是装在盘子里,而是用报纸包起来。据说,最早选用包炸鱼薯条的报纸一定是当天的泰晤士报,这样就可以一边吃着炸鱼一边看报纸了。没吃过炸鱼薯条,都不好意思说自己来过英国呢!

Quality Assurance


A leading Chinese foodmanufacture by producing frozen Chinese food in the UK. Our majority customers are Chinese supermarket and cash &carryin UK and European countries.


We are currently recruiting for the position of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for the day to day quality assurance activities relating to manufactured, assembled & supplied products within a busy food manufactue.You will be heavily involved in paperwork, HACCP, quality management systems.

The ideal candidate will be apositive, outgoing and a self motivated individual.


Skill requirement:

  • draft quality assurance policies and procedures

  • interpret and implement quality assurance standards

  • evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards

  • devise sampling procedures and directions forrecording and reporting quality data

  • review the implementation and efficiency ofquality and inspection systems

  • plan, conduct and monitor testing andinspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality

  • document internal audits and other quality assurance activities

  • investigate customer complaints andnon-conformance issues

  • collect and compile statistical quality data

  • analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

  • develop, recommend and monitor corrective andpreventive actions

  • prepare reports to communicate outcomes ofquality activities

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’sdegree preferred inAgriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry or equivalent.

  • Certificationsan advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality ImprovementAssociate, Six Sigma

  • Full understanding of food industrydynamics

  • Qualityinspection, auditing and testing experience

  •  Experience with implementation of correctiveaction programs

  •  Product or industry-specific experience

  •  Strong computer skills including MicrosoftOffice and databases

  •  Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologiesof QA

  •  Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements

  • Strong communication, problem solving and teamworking skills

  • Ability to work flexibility, when necessary
