富布莱特学者讲座：美国法律英语简明化运动的出现 / The Beginning of American Plain Language Movement
此讲座将用中文进行。
上世纪 70年代，简明英语运动在美国兴盛，在法律领域也倡导使用简明语言完成法律文书，被称为法律英语简明化运动。那么当时这场法律语言的白话运动怎么产生？其肇始伴随着什么有趣的故事？这场所谓的“运动”在现实中有哪些表现呢？
讲者围绕法律英语简明化运动的历史故事并结合其现实表现对其进行介绍，以期同公众分享相关知识和思考。讲座的内容围绕两个方面：
一、上世纪美国法律英语简明化运动的兴起；
二、法律英语简明化运动的一些现实表现。
The Plain Language Movement flourished in the 1970s, and it required to use plain language in legal writing. Like a vernacular movement in America，it is also an interesting topic in the area of “law and language”. There are many questions on this topic, for example: is there any stories happened at the beginning of this so-called “movement”? How about its practice?
The lecturer will trace back to history to describe the plain language movement, and will use some cases to introduce its practice. Correspondingly, the lecture covers two contents: a historical story of American Plain Language Movement and its practice.
讲者简介： 和芫，博士后人员，讲者曾长期参与法律语言学习，于 2014-2015年间参加富布赖特项目，在美利坚大学学习交流，期间研究领域：法律与语言。
