中国西南美国商会成立于1996年，是一个无党派、非盈利组织。作为中国西南地区最大的和最具影响力的外国商会之一，美商会的使命是促进中美经济贸易交流与发展，在美国和中国政府之间起到桥梁作用，同美国驻成都总领事馆紧密合作，为商会会员及美资企业提供服务。
The American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China (AmCham Southwest) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that promotes commerce and investment beteen the United States and Southwest China. Established in 1996, AmCham Southwest has grown into one of the largest and most influential foreign chamber of commerce in Southwest China. Our Board of Governors and members have made significant strdes in furthering AmCham's mission to increase US-China trade, faciliate cooperation between US and Chinese companies, build relationship with US and Chinese government bodies in Southwest China, and promote corporate social responsibility.
商会致力于促进美中两国政府合作，为在中国西南地区发展生机勃勃并具有建设性的美中商业助力。美商会会员均为世界500强的外资企业以及优秀的中国企业。美商会 的总部设在成都，由于近几年的发展壮大应广大的会员要求于 2009 年在重庆也设立了美商会办事处。我们理事会同会员们共同努力，竭力完成商会使命，在对当地政府政策的影响、 会员服务、企业社会责任方面取得了长足进展。
The Chamber maintains strong relations with the American Consulate in Chengdu to help foster vibrant and constructive commercial relations between US and Southwest China. Over the past years, the AmCham family has expanded to more than 300 members, which include Fortune 500 companies, foreign companies, and well-known Chinese enterprises. At the request from members hoping to pursue expanding business opportunities, we have established a branch office in Chongqing in 2009.

美商会每年举办活动在30余次左右，包括商务酒会、晚宴以及讲座，涵盖了经济、政治、文化等多个领域。美商会的活动引起了广泛关注，美国驻成都总领事馆官员、外国驻成都领事馆官员、政府官员和世界500强企业代表都积极参与了我们的活动。
AmCham Southwest successfully holds over 30 events each year, including business receptions, dinner parties as well as seminars which cover a variety of areas like economy, politics, and art. Extensive attentions were paid to our activities, and officials from U.S. Consulate General and other foreign Consulate in Chengdu, local government officials and representatives from Fortune 500 companies took an active part in our activities.

Annual General Meeting & New Year Celebration
作为美商会每年最重要、商务层面最高的活动，年终大会旨在回顾2018年美商会的主要活动和年度财务报告并经过美资会员投票选出了2019年度西南美国商会新一届理事会成员。
As the most important event on the business level, the 2019 Annual General Meeting reviewed its main events and annual financial reports in 2018, and elected 2019 AmCham Board of Governors by votes.
独立日庆典是美商会年度最大最具影响力、以及最高商务层面的国际盛会，出席此次庆典活动的来宾包括美国驻成都总领事馆官员、美商会理事会成员、美商会会员企业代表、500强企业CEO和高管、外籍商务人士和驻蓉外国领事机构、当地政府官员及其家人、朋友等上千名嘉宾。
American Independence Day Celebration is AmCham Southwest’s yearly largest international event that wields the biggest impact., This event pooled talents from all walks of life, totaling around 1,300 attendees, including officials from the Consulate General of the United States in Chengdu, AmCham’s Board of Governors, AmCham members, CEOs and managers from Fortune 500 Enterprises, officials from foreign consulates and local governments, as well as their friends and families.

The 2018 American Business in China White Paper represents the views of AmCham China members; it focuses on trade and commercial issues that impact their business operations in China, and serves to establish a policy platform for the coming year.

美国驻成都总领事馆总领事林杰伟先生携同来自商务、经济、政治和签证等部门的领事官员们出席了晚宴。感恩节是美国的传统节日，美商会在这天向所有一直以来支持美商会的会员和朋友们表达了深深的感谢。
Mr. Jim Mullinax, the CG of U.S. Consulate and officers from business, economic, political and visa departments attended this party. AmCham Southwest expressed its sincere grattitude to its members and friends at such a traditional festival in America.

2017年8月24日，美国新任驻华大使Terry Branstad先生和美国驻成都总领事馆总领事林杰伟先生、美领馆商务处及其他领事官员与西南美商会理事会成员在成都丽思卡尔顿酒店举行了商务早餐会。餐会上，大使表示其将会尽最大努力促进中美两国关系不断改善，双边贸易进一步加强。
On Thursday morning, August 24th, Mr. Terry Branstad, the United States' Ambassador to China and Mr. Jim Mullina, the Consul General of the U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu, together with officials from commercial and other departments of the U.S. Consulate held a breakfast meeting with board members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China in the Ritz-Calton Hotel. During the meeting, Ambassador Branstad has expreessed his deep desire that relations between the U.S. and China keep progressively improving, with the bilateral trade continuing to strengthen.

2. AmCham's Visa Channel (only for American corporates)
AmCham's Visa Channel is a private channel authorized by the US Consulate General to the American Chamber of Commerce. It provides the direct staff of AmCham Southwest's corporate members with convenient and efficient visa interview appointments. Advantages include:
The pass rate is up to 95%
There is a weekly fixed quota during the peak visa appointment period.
Administrative Review is 30 days while the ordinary is 60-90 days.
3. 会员名录
为了增进会员公司之间商务交流和提升企业知名度，美商会每年出版《美商会会员公司名录》，上面刊登所有会员公司的简介信息和联系方式，并发送到所有会员公司，便于大家的合作和商务交流。
3. Membership Directory
In an effort to promote business connections and corporate recognitions, AmCham released its annual Membership Directory, which includes brief introduction and contact information of member companies. The directory would be sent to all of our member companies to facilitate each other's coorperation and business exchange.
4. 每月免费发布人才招聘信息
美商会将免费帮助会员公司发布人才招聘信息，会员公司只需将招聘信息按表格填写好并发回美商会，美商会将第一时间在微信公众平台上以副标题的形式发布招聘信息。
4. Post talent recruitment message monthly
AmCham would post talent recruitment message for our member companies for free on WeChat Official Account subheadings. Member companies just have to fill out our form with their requirements and send it back, and we wil release it as soon as possible.
5. 定期为商会会员免费提供职业培训
美商会会在每月针对人力资源、财务、战略、商务英语和法律法规等提供免费的职业培训。
5. Provide free professional seminars for AmCham members on a regular base
AmCham would provide free professional seminars on human resource, finance, strategy, business English, laws and regulations and so on.
6. 中美政府官员见面会
为促进会员公司和当地中美政府关系和商务交流，美商会在每年的五月和六月举办“美国领事馆官员见面会”和“成都市市政府相关部门的高层官员见面会”。该类会议旨在增进美商会会员公司对美国和中国政府职能和政策的了解与交流。
6. China-America government officials meeting
In order to promote governmental relationship and business communication between China and the U.S, AmCham would hold " Meeting with the U.S Consulate" and " Meeting between senior officers from related departments of the municipal government in Chengdu". Such meetings are aimed to help member companies know more about Chinese and American government functions and policies.
7. 慈善活动
美商会从成立至今的20余年中，一直坚持致力于西南地区的慈善事业，截止2017年4月，已捐赠超过200万元人民币支持当地的慈善事业，包括贫困山区的儿童教育、震后重建的老人活动中心、留守儿童活动中心、改善水资源处理。中国西南美国商会将秉持坚守企业社会责任的信念，竭尽全力促进西南地区社会和谐稳定。
7. Corporate Social Responsibility
Established for 20 years, AmCham has always devoted itself to charities. By April of 2017, more than 2 million RMB has supported local charitable causes, including children education in poverty-striken areas, post-earthquake elderly center, leftover children activity center, safe drinking water public welfare project etc. AmCham upholds a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and focuses these efforts on furthering Southwest China's development.

会员类型
公司会员 5200 RMB
由美资企业、合资企业、独资企业或其他企业法人组成
会员公司的美资股份需超过49%，或公司品牌为美国品牌并且是美国的管理团队，二者满足其一即可
其须在中国设立公司或区域代表，并拥有足够的项目投资以及营运规模。美资会员企业须指定一位企业代表，行使投票权。
Corporate Membership 5200 RMB
Corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships or other legal entities formed, found or incorporated in the U.S.
Corporate member company's interest held by U.S. legal entites or citizens should exceed 49%, or it's an American brand and is run by American team.
The company must be established or have a regional representative in China and have sufficient capital investment or operating interest in China as determined by the Board of Governors. Each Corporate Membership should designate one person as voting representative.
联谊会员 5200 RMB
由意向同美国或其他国家公司进行贸易合作的非美资企业组成。
Associate Membership 5200 RMB
Companies who are not legal U.S. entities but are interested in or connected with the U.S. and all other types of companies. Each Associate Membership should designate one person as representative.
个人会员 4000 RMB
在中国从事商业贸易活动并年满21周年的美国公民。
Individual Membership 4000 RMB
Any U.S. citizen resident in China who is engaged in business or a profession in China, but who does not qualify for Corporate Membership, shall be eligible for Individual Membership provided he or she is twenty-one years of age or over.
投票权： 美资会员以及个人会员拥有投票权，其他类型的会员没有投票权。
Voting Rights: Corporate Members and Individual Members are entitled to vote. All other memberships are non-voting.
会员期限：自入会时间起一年整。保持有效会员身份，须在会费到期之前及时续费。
Term of Membership: Membership is only valid for the duration of the calendar year. All memberships are renewed effective by the end of the previous year.
变更通知：若需变更公司在美商会会员名单中的名称或商标等相关信息，请通知美商会办公室进行修改。
Notification of Change: Please inform the AmCham office of any name changes in your corporation's membership listing.
