学校简介

 Methodist Ladies College, Melbourne（墨尔本卫理会女子学校）俗称MLC，是一个包含宿舍的女子学校。作为澳大利亚历史最悠久、最具盛名、最优秀、规模最大的学校。墨尔本卫理公会女子学校有2千余名学生就读于小学、中学部，其中包括来自亚洲、欧洲及美洲的留学生。卫理公会女子学校在澳洲享有极高的声誉并且有着令人自豪的历史，MLC的建立人的目标是为全球女孩提供一个高档的基督教教育的女校。其位于澳大利亚维多利亚州墨尔本中东部富人区Kew，除此之外，MLC还有两个额外的户外教育校区‘Marshmead’和"Banksia"。

MLC的校园由卫理会教堂建于1882年，是属于澳大利亚联合教的一所学校。从MLC早教中心到12年级一共约有2200名学生，其中包括100多名寄宿生。这所学校是维多利亚州女子运动、澳大利亚寄宿学校协会、澳大利亚初中首席协会，亚洲澳大利亚区女校联盟的成员。MLC为学生提供两种文凭：维多利亚教育证书和IB国际文凭。2002年，MLC赢得了“年度澳大利亚学校”的称号，并被澳大利亚报纸报道。虽然学校从未有专门的宗教门派，原本的校训“Deo Domuique”(为上帝和家)仍然沿用。学校已展开国际视野，包含多样性并且按照联合国教科文组着的原则作一个拥有国际视野的学校。

We are thrilled that, once again, our students have achieved outstanding VCE and VCE VET results, continuing the College’s long tradition of strong academic excellence.  We are delighted that two of our students achieved an impressive ATAR of 99.85 - congratulations to Faizah Alam and Julia Silverii on this wonderful achievement.

Four students received perfect study scores for Psychology, and three in Chemistry. The remaining subjects that achieved a perfect study score of 50 were Biology, VET Business (2), Business Management, Global Politics, Heath and Human Development, VET Hospitality (2), Mathematical Methods, Media, VET Music, Specialist Mathematics.
