All March, the Beijing American Center is celebrating Women’s History Month!  Join us on Tuesday, March 19th, for a discussion with Chinese-American author Helen Zia about her life as a writer, journalist, feminist, and LGBTQ activist.  Zia will discuss her new book, Last Boat out of Shanghai, as well as share aspects of her remarkable life story in a conversation with a fellow female journalist.   Learn about what motivates an author to go digging for a story, and how an activist can navigate the complex dynamics of identity and justice.   We look forward to seeing you there!

This program will be conducted in English.
