澳洲入籍审理速度慢,考试题目太难?先来试试这20道例题!

近年来,澳大利亚的入籍考试一直备受争议,主要原因就是它的高失败率,以及过慢的申请受理速度,这令不少人质疑测试系统的有效性。


根据一份审计报告,在2018年通过入籍考试的人中,超过1200人曾在此之前经历过3次考试失败。而在这一年的85269名申请人中,4807人未能通过考试。真的那么难吗……


澳大利亚国家审计署(Australian National Audit Office)的审查发现,内政部没有及时有效地处理入籍申请。2017-18财年,满足居住年限的入籍申请中仅有15%是在80天内被处理完成的。而内政部此前的目标是让80%的申请能够在80天内处理完毕。审查表明,对申请人加强审查是处理时间拉长的主要原因,发现内政部工作人员并没有得到有效利用。



政界人士Tony Burke和Julian Hill表示,无数生活在澳洲的PR持有者想要表达他们对澳洲的忠诚,结果却因为一个部门的“黑洞”被搁置了。


内政部对此并不认同,他们认为在过去三年内为保护国家和社区安全而采取的措施正在取得成效。在向审计长发出的一份声明中,它强调,入籍申请的拒绝率从2014-15财年的3.4%上升到了2018-19财年开年的6.8%,而这被归结于内政部引入了新的安全审查措施。



此外,澳洲政府还计划出台新的立法,如果申请者3次考不过,那么两年内都不得参加入籍考试。内政部同意了审计长提出的关于根据最新情况来修改其入籍活动资金使用的建议。


据悉,在过去4年中,申请入籍的人数猛增771%,截至2018年6月30日,共有244765人还在等待结果。
