1. 2013-14年CommonApp新加入39所学校，佐治亚理工Georgia Institute of Technology和普渡大学Purdue University也在新增列表中。

2. 2013-14CommonApp题目出炉
2013-14CommonApp题目出炉，essay字数限制在650字内，不得少于250字。字数限制考验学生写作能力。从公布的五个题目而言，美国大学招生官依然喜欢听故事。文书弥补了分数成绩等不能展示的个人特质。申请的学子们可要好好构思今年的作文了。具体文章要求和题目如下：
1.Some students have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story
有些学生认为自己的经历非常能凸显自己的特质，如果不在申请文书中写出来，申请都不能算完美。如果你也属于其中，那么分享你的故事吧
2.Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what lessons did you learn?
记失败经历。这次失败对你产生什么影响?你从中学到什么?
3.Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again?
写信仰或观念受到挑战。你做出的反应是什么?你还会做同样的决定吗?
4.Describe a place or environment where you are perfectly content. What do you do or experience there, and why is it meaningful to you?
描述一个你喜欢的环境地点。你在那里有过什么经历，这个地方对你而言为什么有意义?
5.Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.
