Misty Copeland – Misty Copeland recently made history by becoming the first African American ballerina to land a spot as Principal Dancer with the prestigious American Ballet Theatre. When she started dancing however, her family was on the verge of homelessness. Seeing her talent, her ballet instructor invited her into her house and family, supporting Misty all the way to the top.
