We are a specialised Chinese language School providing Chinese language courses, Chinese painting classes and Chinese culture courses to children and adults in Central London. Due to the nature of the company, we now require a Chinese speaking public relations manager to be in charge of our marketing and public relation department to help us expand our company’s growth. This is a vital role as our company’s is currently growing rapidly and we now require an individual to handle this department. We are looking to hire charismatic individual to lead this role.

Job Description

• Responsible to prepare, edits and arrange effective press release, newsletters (papers and online) and other public relation material to promote Sishu Chinese School

• Managing Sishu Chinese School online marketing platform and promote brand awareness to the UK market

• Organising events and workshop with specific reference to Sishu Chinese School‘s module as part of the school’s on-going campaign to attract the relevant target market

• Prepare presentations and present Sishu Chinese School course information to potential students

• Working alongside the management team, the person is expected to create brand awareness for Sishu Chinese School as well as to promote Sishu Chinese School to the UK market

• To establish cooperation and maintaining liaison with colleges and university for Sishu Chinese School education exchange programme

Professional Requirements

• Strong understanding of Sishu Chinese education material and ethos

• Strong academic background ideally at Masters level in communication

• Experience working in marketing and/or in public relation environment in the UK and/or internationally is desirable

• Able to converse and write in English, Mandarin and Cantonese at a fluent level ; other language will be a plus

• Literate in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Acrobat as well as other Microsoft Office systems

Personal Requirements

• Fluent in Chinese and English

• Have experience to communicate with Chinese and English speaking customers

• Have a profound understanding of Chinese culture

• Have experience in working in education sector

• Relevant educational background of marketing and public relations
