美国内阁由联邦政府行政分支内获得任命的最资深官员组成，历史上共有30位女性官员。随着时间的推移，我们还发现这些杰出女性体现出更加多元化的特点。康多莉扎·赖斯（Condoleezza Rice）于2005至2009年担任国务卿，是第一位女性非裔美国人国务卿。赵小兰（Elaine Chao）于2001年被任命为劳工部部长，是当时内阁中首位女性亚裔美国人。政府中女性和少数族裔代表的增加是美国的一股积极力量。

The United States Cabinet, the most senior appointed officers in the executive branch of federal government, has had 30 female officers.  Over time, we are also seeing increased diversity in these outstanding women.  Condoleezza Rice was the first female African-American Secretary of State from 2005-2009, and Elaine Chao was the first Asian-American woman on the Cabinet when she was appointed Secretary of Labor in 2001.  Increased female and minority representation in government is a positive force in the USA.
