We are looking for a responsible Deputy Manager with retail experience and PR representative for the marketing and promotion of Luss Estates to Asian and Chinese tour companies.

The role requires an excellent English speaker with fluent Cantonese and Mandarin speaking and writing skills.

The person will deputise for the Retail Manager and will be able to organise staff, rotas,targets,cash handling for 3 shops and filling station.

The person will have in depth knowledge of the Scottish tourism industry and related locally sourced products.

They will deliver to the Marketing manager a researched strategy for organising tours and visits to the Estate, presenting historical information and managing the social media to Chinese speaking visitors.

The Estate has a 4 star hotel and sea food bar with function facilities and the Deputy Manager will be expected to market weddings, products, and provide food and beverages tastings for the specific Asian market.

Public speaking, writing marketing copy and networking will be part of the daily routine and therefore and outgoing entrepreneurial personality is expected.

An excellent cultural understanding of the relationship between the Estate and its Asian visitors is a must.

This role will be a demanding one due to the seasonality of the business, long hours and weekend working will be expected.

Due to location, driving or access to public transport is a must, and applicants must live within a 30 minutes drive of Luss.
