新一轮2017年大学本科申请在八月一日已经拉开帷幕，CA系统在再次的改革后首次开放，看看都有哪些变化？

改革一、作文题目

　　CA系统官网已经公布了2016-2017学年美国大学本科申请作文的题目，2016-2017学年个人陈述作文题目( Essay Prompts )与过往不同的有两道，题目如下：

　　1、The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?

2、Describe a problemyou've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectualchallenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma - anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution.

　　还有第三个没有改的题目如下：

1、Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

2、Reflect on a time when you challenged a belief or idea. What prompted you to act? Would you make the same decision again？

3、Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked yourtransition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family.

　　另外，关于作文提交部分，系统中会以清单的形式直观地告诉申请者哪些学校需要提交或哪些学校不需要提交。对于某些大学的额外写作要求，也会出现在申请表的各个位置。如此一来，系统灵活性加大，但申请难度也进一步增加了。

改革二、账号信息可长期保留

　　以往CA系统每年8月1日重新开放的时候，已经注册过的学生信息会被清除，学生需要重新注册。而今年与往年不同的是，在8月1日之前申请2017年入学的同学可以一直保留自己的CA帐号，申请期间的个人添加信息一直会保存，除非自己删除。这样子不了解申请流程的同学，可以有足够的时间去了解，并按照要求准备材料和活动。

改革三、删除部分犯罪历史问题

　　关于是否应该询问申请人的犯罪历史的问题，美国教育部门及各高校已经讨论很久，新的系统中仍然会问学生是否犯有轻罪或重大罪行，但会删除部分细节问题。

改革四、改变性别认定方式

　　性别认定一栏将不再只有男性和女性两个选择，新的系统将询问学生的出生性别，同时新增空白栏允许学生表达自己的意愿，如是否为变性人。

改革五、系统中新增37所美国大学

　　目前CA系统中已包含590所美国大学，2017秋季学期，CA系统将新增37所大学，具体名单如下：

　　Alvernia University

　　Antioch College

　　Baker University

　　Bard College at Simon's Rock

　　Baylor University

　　Benedictine College
