Cocoon Global Ltd is a business incubator based in London backed by China Equity Financial Group and Hanxin Capital Management Group from China.

You would usually work 37.5 hours a week from 9:30 - 6pm on Monday to Friday. Hours could be more irregular and may involve early starts, late finishes and working at the weekend if you are meeting a deadline or reacting to a crisis. You would normally work in an office. You may also travel to attend PR events and conferences, and to meet clients in the UK and China.

-   Communicate key messages, define target audiences in order to establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between the company and the public

-   Monitor publicity and conduct research to find the concerns and expectations of the company’s stakeholders and report findings to management

-   Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns

-   Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople

-   Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations via telephone and email

-   Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media

-   Collating and analysing media coverage

-   Writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports

-   Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, hand-outs, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programmes

-   Devising and coordinating photo opportunities

-   Organising events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours

-   Maintaining and updating information on the organisation’s website

-   Managing and updating information and engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook and Chinese social media sites

-   Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities

-   Fostering community relations through events such as open days and through involvement in community initiatives

-   Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation

-   Forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of the company

-   Bachelor degree and above and at least 2 year study experience in the UK or EU countries

-   PR, branding and marketing experience in both UK and China preferred

-   Good spoken and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English

-   Excellent writing skills in both Chinese and English

-   Confident communication and presentation skills

-   Creativity and initiative
