Access 2010 Level 1:
During the Access 2010 course you will learn about access orientation, using ribbon, introducing access options, database theory, database design, building tables, working with external data, setting table relationships, quickly looking at the forms, configuring access display options, introducing access select queries, creating and using parameter queries, using calculated fields in queries, form design, enhanced form design, creating simple access reports, modifying access reports, designing a navigation system & controlling access at start-up.
During this course skills and knowledge covered are sufficient for creating the tables, queries, forms and reports required for use in a relational database system. Emphasis is placed on good design practices and database design theory. At the completion of the formal sessions a workshop is conducted and a database built from the ground up. Participants will be encouraged to use their own database model and ideas during this session.
