8月23日，英国广播公司（BBC）评选出了100部21世纪最佳电影。

为了此次的评选，BBC在全世界36个国家和地区，邀请了177位影评人参与评选。

评选规则是，每个影评人给出自己心目中的十佳电影，第一名记10分，第二名9分……第十名1分。然后合计分数，根据总分高低，对影片进行排序。大卫.林奇的《穆赫兰道》被评为21世纪最佳电影。

看过的人都知道，这个可谓是史上最难看懂的电影...

王家卫的《花样年华》高居第二。

杨德昌的《一一》，排名第八。

李安导演的《卧虎藏龙》和《断背山》，分别排在第35、40名。

侯孝贤的《刺客聂隐娘》列第50。
