Religion In England

Religion has played a critical role in English history and continues to shape and change English culture. 宗教信仰曾经在英国历史和发展进程中扮演过一个非常重要的角色。

Originally a Catholic Country, Henry VIII formed the Church of England in 1534.

The majority of people in England live in City’s or Towns. Populations in Villages has decreased due to farming practises changing and modernising.

Most people in England live in Houses and not in Apartments or Flats. The type of architecture has changed over the years, but many older houses still exist and it is normal to live in homes older than 100 years.
